Sen Takida avslutade sin akustiska vårturné - "The Boxroom Tour", våren 2013, har bandet spenderat mesta delen av sin tid i studion. <br/><br/>Takida har genom åren varit ett hårt turnérande band och har gått från utsålda konserthus till utsålda ishallar. Ångebandet fick sitt stora genombrott 2007 med tracksettan "Curly Sue",<br/>och har sedan dess radat upp hits som "Handlake Village", "The Things We Owe", "Never Alone Always Alone", "Haven Stay", "Swallow (Until You're Gone)" och multiplatina singeln "You Learn".<br/>De är ett av de mest spelade rockbanden i den svenska etern med över 100 miljoner streams på streamingtjänster samt flertalet dubbel och platina-säljande singlar och album.<br/><br/>Under 2012 gjorde bandet succé med turnén "The Burning Heart Tour" som blev utsåld på förhand och i slutet av året släpptes samlingsplattan "A Lesson Learned (The Best of Takida)" tillsammans nyskrivna låten "Swallow (Until You're Gone)".

Art is a cyclical beast. The same can easily be said of Grammy Award nominated hard rock juggernaut Mastodon. The group's four members recognize the importance of life's omnipresent cycles on their sixth full-length album, Once More 'Round the Sun. The band orbits around themes of loss and rebirth, twirling a sonic spiral of its signature robust riffing, hypnotically haunting soundscapes, triage of dynamic voices, and thundering seismic grooves.<br/><br/>In order to uphold a modus operandi of experimentation and evolution, the boys enlisted the talents of super producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice In Chains, Deftones, etc.) for the very first time. They holed up in his Falcon Rock studio in Nashville throughout the fall of 2013, cutting what would become Once More 'Round the Sun. Svenska Anette Olzon tog klivet in i rampljuset när hon 2007 blev sångerska och frontkvinna i<br/>det internationellt ytterst framgångsrika Nightwish. Anette turnerade världen över flera gånger om med bandet och var med och spelade in albumen 'Dark Passion Play' och 'Imaginaerum'. 2012 gick Olzon och Nightwish sklida vägar. Här är Anette Olzons första soloalbum, som fått titeln 'Shine'.<br/><br/>Albumet har producerats av bland andra Stefan Örn, som skrev och producerade låten som vann hela den Europeiska Melodifestivalen 2011, nämligen Azerbadjans 'Running Scared', men också av Johan Glössner och av Anette Olzon själv. Musikaliskt rör det sig om rock med popinfluenser, vackra melodier och Anettes karakteristiska röst i fokus.
